over the weekend mom, jamie, maddie and i decided to go pick some fresh strawberries. upon arriving, we were introduced to Irve "The Patch Master"
Irve was a lovely old fellow who help us find the ripest strawberries to pick.
"you just part the leaves, and there they are! hidin' out!"
Irve knew what he was doing and was very excited whenever he found a group of great berries. we filled three whole boxes of the prettiest ones to take home and devour. it was a wonderful, windy day at the patch and we still have a ton of strawberries left over.

we will hopefully be back in the coming months to pick raspberries, blackberries and blueberries when they are ready!

Ahaha. I love the last one. Maddie's basket looks empty, yet she is still so proud! The third from the bottom is when Irve got so excited at that group of berries, he picked too many to hold. I was coming to his rescue with some boxes.
