monday night we went to see The Lumineers in Lawrence, KS. amazing. that was probably one of the funnest and happiest shows i've ever attended.
i've never seen a small room of roughly only a few hundred people dance, feet
stomp, clap, and sing at the top of their lungs that much. the whole
show was so amazing because it felt like all the fans were really part of it. a couple songs in, the band asked
everyone to put their phones/cameras away and just "be there" and "enjoy
the music and sing along." shockingly, i didn't see a single glowing
light in the crowd after that. it was so happy and wonderful and
magical. those are the shows that i live for and make spending your money on it worth it. i'll never forget that one.
